“Trame d’Autore” are born in 1998 as biennial exposure of textile artists: event to which it comes bound together, in contemporary, a monographic exhibition on the specific work of an artist through whose search is possible to read and to deepen one between the various distances of the Fiber Art. The center of the first Biennial is Palazzo Opesso, while the monographic comes prepared in the Civic Gallery of Saint Filippo.
By the second edition, in 2000, the Biennial finds new developments, that it previews in the
uneven years the presentation of the “ Incontri Monografici d’Artista” in the rooms of Palazzo Opesso, and, in the equal years, the Biennial in the Imbiancheria del Vajro. Instead, Palazzo Opesso accommodates, during the Biennial, the jobs of the didactic plans realized in several orders of schools through the collaboration with the students of artists tutors.
